The Inspiration

The author met the real Karma on her first trip to Bhutan, and learned his story from the Bhutanese people. He was saved by some local residents in early 2016, and is kept in a small shelter in The Phobjikha Valley, Bhutan. Karma desperately needs a new enclosure.
